What will I master in one year?

  • Module 1: Islamic Economic goals and vision
  • Module 2: Fiqh al Mu'amalat (Islamic Commercial Law)
  • Module 3: Islamic Financing
  • Module 4: Islamic Banking Products
  • Module 5: Halal Investing
  • Module 6: Insurance vs. Takaful
  • Module 7: Islamic Capital Markets
  • Module 8: Islamic Wealth Management
  • Module 9: Shariah Governance

Why is this course worth the investment?

  • Every week, you will have exclusive access to an international Mufti and guest lectures from leading figures in the international Islamic banking, insurance, legal, and accounting industries. These are professionals who typically charge >€250 per hour for their time, so for €80 p/m (excl. VAT), you receive immense value. It is also an opportunity to build an extensive network.

  • Purchasing books can be a costly endeavor, costing you hundreds of euros. We offer the study material for free and will provide many books in PDF format that you can enjoy for your entire life and use as reference material.

  • This program, unlike many others, is fully focused on providing you with the knowledge ('Ilm) to develop products ('Amal). You build lifelong skills that you can then use to establish impactful ventures.

  • This has never been offered in the Netherlands before. Regular access to global experts is not something everyone can easily have. The network and opportunities that arise from being part of the FinRizq community are worth much more than any investment in a one-year program.

FAQs

When does the program start?

The course will start in September 2024 and will last for one year. There will be online classes every week. It's important to attend weekly to maximize your learning during the interactive sessions with Mufti Faraz and fellow students.

How much time do I need to invest weekly?

Every Thursday evening at 6:30 PM, the class begins. The lessons last an average of 1.5 hours. If you miss a class, you can watch it the next day in your learning environment.

I can't participate every week. Is that a problem?

We hope you'll participate every week and fully focus. We all know that consistency and coming together are the best ways to learn. The weekly classes will be recorded and posted in your learning environment so you can watch them later if you can't join the live sessions for a few weeks.

In which language will the lessons be taught?

It's important that you understand and speak English. The lessons and materials will be in English. Mufti Faraz Adam and Imad el Fadili (Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor) will teach in English. Guest speakers will also communicate solely in English as they reside all over the world. If you also know Arabic, it's beneficial for reading extra materials, but it's not a requirement.

Do I need to buy study materials?

You will receive all the necessary study materials from us, which will be uploaded to your learning environment (books, articles, etc.). It's always nice to have certain books in hard copy for your own reference. You can purchase them, but it's not mandatory.

Can I participate as a student?

Of course, you can. The program is open to both students and professionals. However, it's important that you delve deeper into certain topics if you haven't encountered them before.
